Find Carson Court Dates

Start with your paperwork. The most recent citation, summons, notice, or letter from the clerk usually holds the date you need. A statewide hearing search can help too. But Carson County posts no single daily calendar covering every court, so the Carson County court calendar you encounter will be split by case and by docket type. One specialty docket runs on its own official schedule, and everything else comes down to the court that set the hearing. Always check the court, date, time, place, and setting type. Then confirm with the right clerk or coordinator before you drive over, since a rescheduled case can leave both old and new dates sitting in the docket.

The Carson County Court Calendar

Carson County has three real calendar channels. A case-level docket or re:SearchTX hearing result may show an event. The Northern Panhandle Child Protection Court publishes a separate Carson date selector. Settings not published online must be confirmed by the responsible coordinator, combined clerk, JP, or municipal court.

No county-wide daily or weekly docket PDF was found. There is no published local promise about update frequency, courtroom fields, remote-hearing links, or courthouse calendar postings. A county meeting calendar is not a trial docket. Use only the source tied to the court that owns the case, and treat any copied schedule as subject to later court action.

Carson Child Protection Dates

The Northern Panhandle Child Protection Court docket page is the clearest standalone Carson County calendar. It identifies the specialty court and county, then asks the visitor to select a docket date. This is a date-link selector, not a name or cause-number search.

The official source deserves care because child-protection details can be restricted. Use its landing page to locate an official date, but do not republish names or confidential details. Confirm an unclear date with the responsible court. The date list does not prove that other Carson County courts share that calendar.

The manifest capture comes from the official specialty-court source.

The captured selector shows the date-first design that makes this calendar distinct from a case search.

How to Find Your Court Date

Read the latest paper first. Record the exact court, cause number, date, time, and room if printed. Then use the channel for that court. re:SearchTX offers a Hearings category, but its statewide guide does not promise that every Carson setting or courtroom field will appear.

  1. Copy the court and cause number from the citation, summons, notice, or clerk letter.
  2. Search the case or Hearings in re:SearchTX and check whether each row is current or historical.
  3. Use the specialty selector for a Northern Panhandle child-protection matter.
  4. Call 806-537-3622 for County Court or 940-937-7070 for the 100th District Court.
  5. Call the named JP or city court for a precinct or municipal matter.
  6. Check courthouse notice and confirm with counsel when represented.
  7. Verify the date, time, place, and appearance method on the day of travel.

Carson Coordinator Confirmation

Direct lines matter because the 100th District Court's primary location is Childress. Its coordinator can be reached at 940-937-7070. The Carson clerk at 806-537-3873 can help with the local case record. County Court settings go through coordinator Vanessa Watkins at 806-537-3622. Ask where the Carson setting will occur and whether a current courtroom or appearance instruction exists.

JP1 and JP2 do not publish public calendars on their county pages. A traffic citation, eviction notice, small-claims packet, or debt-claim notice is the first setting record. City cases stay with Panhandle, White Deer, Groom, or Skellytown municipal court. A payment page may show a deadline, but it is not a full hearing calendar.

Note: an eFileTexas receipt proves filing activity, not the current hearing date.

Reading a Court Setting

Read a Carson County setting as a group of fields. A date without its court, cause number, and setting type can point to the wrong event. The statewide guide supports hearing search and details, but it does not guarantee a room field or a full Carson setting-type list. Mark missing fields for phone confirmation.

DateThe scheduled day; compare it with any later reset row.
TimeThe docket call or hearing time.
LocationCourt, building, room, or remote method if officially provided.
Case and judgeThe cause number, case style, court, and judicial officer.
Setting typeArraignment, pretrial, motion, trial, plea, review, or another event.

Record whether the event is current, prior, reset, or canceled. Remarks and a linked notice can change how the row should be understood.

Carson Setting Type Glossary

No Carson court publishes a complete local setting-code list. These common labels are supported by Texas court structure and statewide materials, but the court should confirm its live usage.

Docket call
A calendar call used to identify readiness, requested action, or trial status.
Pretrial
A case-management, discovery, or plea-stage event before trial.
Motion hearing
A setting for the judge to hear a specific motion.
Trial setting
A jury or bench trial date that can later be reset.
Review or permanency
A child-protection review subject to access limits.
JP hearing
An eviction, small-claims, debt-claim, traffic, or other precinct event.

A setting label tells the purpose of an event. It does not state the outcome.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A reset can leave more than one date in the Carson County docket. The record may show a continuance request, order, new notice, or later hearing row without deleting the first event. Do not select a date only because it sorts last in a copied list. Find the court's latest notice and ask whether the change was granted.

Carson County has not published a local reset code, maximum posting horizon, or promise of real-time updates. Confirm whether the old date is inactive, whether new notice was sent, and whether attendance is still required. Weather, judicial availability, emergency orders, or another court action can change a schedule.

Carson Calendar Source Limits

A public date list is not formal notice. re:SearchTX may mix past and future hearings. The specialty calendar exposes dates rather than a complete county case index. Panhandle's city events calendar is not a municipal docket, and Groom's vendor page is a payment form. No Carson state-court Zoom link, standing remote policy, daily docket PDF, holiday calendar, or weather-closure order was located.

Use the Carson County homepage for current county notices, then confirm with the court. If a past daily docket has disappeared, ask the custodian for a date-specific docket sheet and supply the court, date, and cause number. Ask whether a plain or certified copy is needed and what current charge applies.

Carson Calendars by Court

Each Carson County court lane has a different practical calendar source. District criminal and major civil matters can begin with a re:SearchTX case or hearing result, followed by confirmation with the 100th District coordinator and Carson clerk. County Court criminal, civil, juvenile, and probate settings may share a broad court label, so ask the coordinator whether the matter is on a separate docket call.

The citation is the first calendar record for a fine-only case. An eviction or small-claims notice fills that role in justice court. Keep the original notice even after checking online because it identifies the custodian and may contain appearance instructions that a short portal row omits.

What to Do If You Miss a Setting

Contact the court and counsel promptly after a missed Carson County setting. Give the cause number, court, missed date, and setting type. Ask whether the judge issued an order, warrant, bond action, default, or new setting. Do not assume that paying online, leaving a message, or filing a later paper cancels the effect of the missed date.

Missed a Setting? A criminal absence can lead to failure-to-appear or bond action, while a civil absence can lead to an adverse order.

Call the responsible Carson County clerk or coordinator at once and ask what the docket now shows.

Consult a licensed attorney about the missed setting before taking action or appearing without current instructions.
